The National Yo-Yo League is excited to announce our 2022 season as yo-yo contests return to the United States. This year we will feature five regional events leading up to the 2022 National Yo-Yo Contest on June 24-26 in Mesa, AZ.
The 2022 Regional Lineup is:
Pacific Northwest Regionals: Seattle, WA – February 26, 2022 Postponed to a later date – expected late Spring or early Summer.
Southeast Regionals: Tentatively Orlando, FL – Date TBA (March)
Northeast Regionals: Tentatively MA – Date TBA (April)
Midwest Regionals: Bloomington, MN – May 21, 2022
South Central Regionals: Houston, TX – June 4, 2022
Southwest Regionals: Torrance, CA – Date TBA (October)
*Note: Southwest Regionals will take place after Nationals and will seed to the 2023 National Yo-Yo Contest
All Regional contests will feature three minute finals with 1A and X divisions with the winners of each being seeded to the National Finals.
All contest and league details will be on our new website, http://www.nyyl.org. League membership and registration for PNWR will be available on the website shortly. For companies wishing to support, sponsorship packages for the entire league will be available shortly as well.
We are excited for this season and look forward to bringing yo-yo players together around the country once again.
Note: Necessary COVID precautions will be enforced and will be made clear as we post the actual event pages including specifics on requirements for the event and expectations of the local area (since sometimes those are more or less strict.)
